The stock exchange
is a regulated capital market at which you
can find demand for and supply of listed securities.
The Sarajevo Stock Exchange started to operate
on 12th April 2002.

are brokerage jobs?

In
order to take part in trading on a stock exchange
– to sell your securities or to purchase new
– you have to hire a broker who works at a brokerage
house which is a member of the stock exchange.
VGT-Broker is one of the founders and a member
of the Sarajevo Stock Exchange. Jobs carried
our on your behalf on a stock exchange by a
brokerage house are called brokerage jobs.

I am interested in purchasing
shares of a company? What should I do?
3a.
You
have to contact the nearest VGT-Broker office.
You can find the address and telephone number
of the nearest office on our web site or by
dialing our contact telephone. You have to
bring your ID card or passport with you. Then,
you will sign a general brokerage agreement
and fill out a request for opening of a trading
account with the Register of Securities. The
brokerage agreement and request for opening
of the trading account are to be signed only
once, when you visit our brokerage house for
the first time.
The next step you should take is to issue
a written statement of your purchase conditions:
- Which securities you want to purchase,
- The quantity of the securities you want
to purchase,
- At which price do you want to purchase the
securities.

What are the trading costs on the
Sarajevo Stock Exchange?

Trading costs on the Sarajevo Stock
Exchange are divided into three segments:
- Brokerage commission,
- Commission paid to the stock exchange,
- Commission paid to the Register.

How can I find out the prices of
shares listed on the stock exchange?

The
stock exchange takes advantage of different
media to inform the public about the prices
of securities. Also, all information regarding
securities, the Sarajevo Stock Exchange and
current conditions on the securities market
